Creative Peninsula Craic
As part of the Ards and North Down Council run Creative Peninsula, I ran a spinning and a peg loom weaving workshop. Lots of craic at both, and the spinners both went home with a ball of their own hand spun wool, despite their severe doubts from the start that they would make anything at all! They picked it up really well, and added colour and unique texture to their final products.
And the peg loom weaving workshop was just as productive. Participants showed a great eye for colour, and we finished off our wall hangings with colour matching beads and charms.
