Schacht Cricket Loom and Other Workshops

This evening was a weaving workshop, part of the creative peninsula program of arts and crafts. Fiona worked on my schacht cricket loom, a small rigid heddle loom, and was well on her way to a masterpiece when time ran. So she took the loom home to finish her homework.

Two lovely ladies from England, mother and daughter, came along to a peg loom workshop this morning. Lots of things in common – greyhounds, lurchers, horses, crafts and Terry Pratchett.
Hand Spun

I am starting to stockpile some hand spun for two special customers. Currently using ‘Dharma’ acid dyes with lovely results
Makers Moot Visits The Walled Garden

Branch Weaving Workshop
