I am now spinning some raw fleece for a customer to knit an Aran jumper. She has asked that some lanolin is left in the wool, as that is what her customer for the jumper has asked for.
I’m not sure how it will turn out as I can’t wash it too much at this stage or the lanolin will wash out. But I still need the yarn to look clean!
On a Google search, the norm seems to be that lanolin is added back into clean yarn, once it has been spun and washed. I will be playing this one by ear!
