Christmas Tree Weaving Workshop

 

I had a lovely day at Maryland Healthcare today demonstrating Christmas Tree weaving for the residents. The trees were woven on a simple frame that I made for the event, warped with yellow linen yarn, and I used knotted ribbons of material as a weft – a bit like making rag rugs. 

Residents names were written on lolly sticks and added to the trees as decorations.
