Kiri Cottage Creative Peninsula 2023

Kiri Cottage Crafts is very happy to announce we are participating in the hugely popular Creative Peninsula again this year! 

This is happening up and down the Peninsula between 27 July – 13 August 2023.

The Creative Peninsula is Northern Ireland’s premier celebration of professional Art and Craft.

Now in its 22nd year, and with some exciting changes afoot, this thriving annual event features exhibitions, workshops and demonstrations, all taking place in the picturesque Borough of Ards and North Down.

Our Borough is well knows for its many resident Artists and Makers and during Creative Peninsula visitors have the opportunity to view their work, make a purchase or a commission or try their hand at making something unique.

Learn to spin on a spinning wheel, and help to keep a traditional craft alive.
Kiri Cottage Craft Session Senior Clubs
This simple form of weaving teaches everyone, kids included, the basics of traditional weaving.
Kiri Cottage Finger Loop Braiding
Fingerloop braiding is a very old technique, with examples that date back to the Bronze Age.
